Reasons     

There are several factors that influence development “bumps” As we get older, we list some of them:   

  • transverse flatfoot;  
  • genetic predisposition;  
  • Wearing narrow shoes (pointed shoes, toes that are too short - anything that does not provide the necessary space for the toes);  
  • incorrectly selected shoes (heel too high or possibly missing orthopedic insoles);  
  • endocrine disorders;  
  • Osteoporosis;  
  • congenital weakness of connective and bone tissue.  

Symptoms      

You should be careful and examine your feet carefully if:   

  • there is pain in the ankles;  
  • Your legs tire quickly;  
  • you have difficulty choosing shoes;  
  • there is a visible deformation of the foot;

If you notice these changes, you should see a podiatrist and be sure to take x-rays and footprints to determine if flat feet are present.Therefore, if you or your children have flat feet, it is advisable to monitor the course of the pathology from an early age, namely: choose the right shoes, do a massage and regularly visit an orthopedist.People with flat feet are at a much higher risk of developing this deformity.

  • wearing shoes without stilettos and pointed toes);
  • mandatory use of orthopedic insoles;
  • Movement therapy.

Remember that if you do nothing, the disease can develop into chronic bursitis (bursitis) and osteoarthritis.Even if the disease is advanced, surgery may be necessary.
